Someone has probably already mentioned it, but if I can only have one tool in the toolbox, it would be my hands.

It is incredible how often your hands are what you need to do various things and how there is no constructed substitute that is better.

This was going to be my choice since can make other things with it. So literally it could make you a hammer, screwdriver etc if needed.
