No it wasn't.  We were good against poor teams.  Shaunta broke it down on BBMB.  It was years ago but against teams that were drafting in the top 12, we scored a lot.

When we played decent to good teams....offense wasn't good.

You're just saying this because Tyrod was the QB and you told me that he was going to make me look like an idiot once he left Buffalo.

Such a Brownsy result.

shaunta... wow, what a BBMB throwback!

Classic rookie QB with a terrible team around him conundrum.   Will be interesting to see what Burrow can become if the Bengals figure out how to build a team.

So Odell wasn't down earlier, but Bernard is down there?  Refs not inspiring confidence here.

well the league refuses to fire Al Riveron unless / until fans lose complete confidence in the refs and start rioting

I’m sure they will conveniently scrub that from the all-22

Compare how Burrow looks with no preseason playing on a team with no O-line to how Rosen looked.  I think Joe is going to be okay.  He's got the tough mentality to survive the next couple of years.

Lol what?

They were a top 10 scoring team in the league that year. Who the ***** is Shaunta?

Shaunta was one of the best posters on BBMB.  He used to be a college football offensive lineman and college football coach.  He broke it down in a long post and he was dead on.

Yes I know we were top 10 in offensive scoring.  We were also right in the middle of the pack in defensive scoring at #16.

How does a very good offense and top 10 in scoring when they have an average defense not make the playoffs?  It's because we scored a lot on the bad teams which skews the data.  Offense was poor against the better teams.
