SCBills Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I didn’t care, but I was in the vast minority of “not caring” amongst those I watched the game with.
Bubba Gump Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Some dude called Schopp and Bulldog today and said when he saw that both teams stayed in the locker rooms for the anthem, he turned off the TV and didn't watch the game at all. Me myself didn't give a *****. 1
LeGOATski Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Bunch of snowflakes crying about how players are protesting racism... This is where we're at... 3 1

Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Don't care. I'm supportive of the players. No need for the national anthem to be played before the game anyways. Save it for the Olympics and maybe the SuperBowls. 4
Rc2catch Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I didn’t really watch the anthem part before all this and I don’t watch it now. I don’t care who stands, who kneels, who does jumping jacks. Give me kickoff and I’ll watch 1
EasternOHBillsFan Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I'm a retired vet and the whole point of defending freedom is you get to exercise said freedoms, so I had no issues... it's Bills time. GO BILLS 2 2 3
nedboy7 Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 How about they stop playing the national anthem for sporting events. 1

flaz Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 The players made their statements on the helmet. The players and the management met and came up with the plan. I have no problem with the outcome. They won, GO BILLS!!! 3 1

That is the problem sometimes with protest. It shadows those things that are being done. Edit: I should say the focus we put on the protest not the problem with it. https://www.wgal.com/article/buffalo-bills-players-helping-donate-money-for-kids-internet-needs-in-over-4500-homes/33987831 Edited September 15, 2020 by fansince88 3
Dragoon Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 This is crap that we’re talking about this. But if the Bills are gonna make political statements I’d rather not see it. Im not gonna say which side of the aisle I’m on — but the reason I hate this is sports were a great conversation starter with folks I know who disagree with me politically. That’s gone now. So there’s that. I just wanna watch and talk ball with any democrat or republican. That’s all. I don’t wanna talk Trump, I just wanna talk ball. 1 1
ziltoid Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Sean answered this excellently after the game. The team gets an A+ from this fan.
fishgrappler Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Last time I checked it’s a free country. If you’re one of the people that want to control what people do, you’re part of the problem. ~Air Force Vet 3 1
DCbillsfan Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Watched the game on game pass. Probably do it all season minus the night games. Pure football. Really you're not able to have a conversation about sports without bringing up the National Anthem? 3
