Beautiful stadium, you’d think SoCal would be the one place you wouldn’t need a dome though. I guess it basically serves the purpose of being a wall mount for a gigantic tv.

There was an interesting documentary on how the stadium was constructed; how it was made earthquake resistant and how the roof was built. They had to use one of the world’s largest cranes.

These southern areas need the roofs or enclosed domes because of the heat/sun in those areas. Sitting for 3+ hours in the direct sun in California/Florida/Texas/Vegas in late summer/early fall is not always the most comfortable places to be. When I got married 8 years ago in November we flew to Vegas after and when we left here it was snowing, got there and it was shorts and t-shirt weather warm enough to still go for a swim during the day

When it goes to a close up you can see it's a light grey, from one of the higher angles the lights make them look white

You’d think that for a stadium that cost $2B that that put some money into the marketing department.  Or, they did and they did a crappy job.
