pigpen65 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Cut the ***** out of him. Hes not NFL caliber. Maybe he will be one day but he sure as hell isnt right now
HurlyBurly51 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 And just like that, another maddening miss. Inconsistent can seem to stay out of the 60’s
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 give the kid a break. he put them in the lead and they haven't lost it, yet.
Bills fan since 87 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 I can't believe we haven't ended this yet
Buffalo Boy Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 That’s the Darnold I’ve come to know and love.
Weatherman Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Jets trying their best to give us the W, let’s see if we can dork it up.
Blokestradamus Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Hope he's sleeping alone tonight or he might start kicking the girlfriend in his sleep. 1
Fixxxer Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 it is inexcusable that you have to travel to New Jersey just to practice field goals..... 2
TheCockSportif Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Having lived through Norwood, even I'm starting to get the yips. They really need to solidify the kicker position. I'm glad that Bass went 6/8, but missing no brainer types of kicks is cause for concern.
BillsCuse Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Had a few misses, but I think (and hope) he will be ok. Hitting 3 in a row after that initial miss was big. Im a big believer that a lot of kickers issues in general are more mental than anything else. Hes a rookie, got to keep his confidence up.

He will get better. once the rookie jitters wear off, I think this kid is going to win us many more with his leg. lets just hope he doesn't have to do all the scoring in one game in the future. 1
UConn James Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Hey, Gostkowski missed a 44-yarder with :14 seconds left for a tie vs. Pitt. Robbie Gould missed a gimme vs. NE. Kicking has really suffered this season, even for solid vets, and it’s hard to really know why.

His second miss today was inexcusable but give him credit for doing well after the first miss. 16 minutes ago, UConn James said: Hey, Gostkowski missed a 44-yarder with :14 seconds left for a tie vs. Pitt. Many feel it's because of the empty stadiums that the wind is playing into it more than normally would. 1
LabattBlue Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Are the Bills telling Bass to kick the ball short sometimes? If so, I think it is a mistake. If he has the leg to boom it out of the end zone every time, then have him do it.
The Frankish Reich Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 6 of 8, none of em chip shots, ain't too bad. Plus he booms the kickoffs. I think the added accuracy (really 7 of 8 would be good) will probably come.

boater Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 I don't like it. But I'm not worried enough to do something about it yet. He could have some growing pains and could develop into a legendary kicker. God knows he has the leg strength for it. Besides, it's not like there are improvements sitting around on unemployment.
