Wacka Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 (edited) Worked at Stanford when Clinton was president (95-98). Bicyclists would come barreling through the pedestrian areas of the campus with no regard to others. Once, while on the way to the campus PO, two cyclists collided. One was about 5'6" and the one that was at fault was about 6 ft. Neither one had visible injuries, but the shorter guy grabbed his bicycle pump and started savagely waling away at the other guy's bike. The crowd applauded him after it was over. ExiledInIllinois Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Aren't there adaptive bikes without motors? That propel with hand power?

Pretty good story, but honestly, I was expecting more of a climax.

The under 18 Bulgarian National bicycle racing championships, held just outside Plovdiv, 1992. The kid who tried to knock the other kid off the bike was Grigor Borisov. The kid he knocked off's father happened to be an official standing on the bridge. He's the guy who throws Borisov in the river. They mete out justice swiftly in Bulgaria! 1 1
