HOUSE Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 (edited) Without a good punter this team is going nowhere... Why are we sticking with him ?? .. Edited September 10, 2020 by HOUSE 4
Bubba Gump Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I think the Bills offense will make Darnold see ghosts on Sunday. Daboll might come out and throw it 14 times a row like he did last year.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Motor 125 yards, 2 TD's Josh 250 yards, 2 TD's McKittrick 60 yards rec, 60 yds rushing, 1 TD
GreggTX Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 The Jets were #1 in run defense last year. Mosley won't be there, but the rest of the Jets D will be and their pass D is better than most. People expecting the Bills O to run it up will be coming to terms with reality. We will continue to struggle on O in 2020. I expect this game to go right down to the wire. 1
TheyCallMeAndy Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 (edited) I also think it’ll be a conservative, sloppy game. The sloppiness may result in some big plays offensively (for either side) but it may be a month before we see what the 2020 Offense has to offer. **Edit** That doesn’t mean we will be bad, Josh will probably have a solid day and flash what is to come 👍🏼 Edited September 10, 2020 by TheyCallMeAndy 2
Logic Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I expect sloppiness and mistakes early on. Remember last season's opener against the Jets? The Bills kept shooting themselves in the foot. And that was AFTER a full, regular offseason and four preseason games. I don't realistically see the Bills (or any team, really) coming out of the gate firing on all cylinders. I feel like the first quarter of just about every NFL game this season will be kind of sloppy and ugly. That said, I expect a Bills win, but not a blowout like some do. I think it'll be more like 19-13 Bills. 1

I keep hearing talk of a jets blowout......dont be suprised if the game is tighter because we are keeping the ball on the ground. FYI, the Bills opened with 17 straight called pass plays last year vs the Jets.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 my expectations are low for what amounts to The first preseason game. I think it will be sloppy— lot of penalties and mistakes by both teams. I suspect the coaches realize this, and may be conservative to start the game, and maybe open the offense up in very small doses. I would be stunned if JA ended up with even 220 yards passing. 1
TFBillsfan Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Enough points to win. This team has to prove it on the field to justify the hype. At the end of week one, I just want a W. Keep improving each week and play to their potential. Schedule is tough so you can’t afford losses to teams you should beat. 1 1 2
klos63 Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I expect to see a very good 3rd down conversion rate. Diggs!
SuperTanker Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Pure domination baby! Bills 42, Jets 3 1
BuffAlone Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 52 minutes ago, Kirby Jackson said: I honestly think that push the Jets all over the field. They take advantage of that trash secondary and pump balls to Diggs. I said 31-10 and feel like it may not ever be that close. The Jets will get a little better as the year goes on but there is an enormous talent gap between the 2 teams. Add the Bills continuity in a abnormal offseason and it is a recipe for a massacre. I agree. Why focus on the run against the strongest position group the Jests will field Sunday, when they can just decimate a depleted secondary. 31-10 seems just about right to me 2
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I’m expecting 8 110 and 2 TD’s from Diggs. 1 1
purple haze Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 They will highlight the intermediate passing game, which the Jets have no answer for. Expect a lot of Diggs, Brown and Beasley; also Swing passes to the RBs. They will mix in the running game, but they won’t focus on the run until the Late 3rd-4th quarter and the game is in hand.

MJS Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I expect them to be good, but to make some mistakes since it is game one and we have had no preseason. But I don't expect the game will ever be in doubt. I think we win by multiple scores. 1
