Big Gun Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I got Marrone after a loss to Houston puts them at 1-4. 2 1

Jags front office isn’t wise enough to do that 5 games into the season. 8 games in after Houston embarrasses them in their own home? Yes. 2-6 record and Douggie is out the door. Gase is a candidate too but the Jets kept Rex around past his expiration. I’m guessing he finishes the season. Might even be back for one more knowing the Jets lol. DrDawkinstein Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I think a lot of coaches will skate this year with the weird situation. But Gase and Marrone are great choices. 4

He’s the perfect coach to ride all the way to the number one pick… Unless you consider the fact that he might alienate everyone of his players from the organization in doing so.

I guess an interim from within would likely be able to keep things going well though. Jets start with a brutal stretch: Bills 49ers Colts And then host the Broncos. If they are dead on arrival and don’t even compete in any of these games I could see the Greggy takeover sooner than later.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 As much as I would love to see Maroon sent packing, I think Jagoffs have bought into the full demo and rebuild. GooglyEyes will get it once the Jests have been eliminated from the playoffs.
mushypeaches Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 It's Matt Patricia all the way. His players already openly hate him
MJS Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Gotta go with Marrone. The Jags are going to suck this year. Maybe week 7?
Just Joshin' Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Gase will be first about week 6 and Williams will slip the knife into his back. Marrone will be kept around to week 14 so the season is still a tank but allowing the team to start looking for his replacement.

TheElectricCompany Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I'll throw a wildcard in here...Matt Nagy by week 7. 5

And yes, those two names would be near the top of the endangered list. 1
