Aaronthebaron Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Ignore me if this was posted before. Here’s a look at a lot of Diggs’ targets from last year. Couple things: -He was overthrown a fair bit. -He’s lethal on double moves -Fantastic on slants -Really good at knowing where to ‘sit’ on his routes -Great sense on picking up yardage after the catch 2 6
Drew21PA Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 awesome stuff! so pumped for Diggs! Allen to Diggs - I like it!
TroutDog Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 First, thanks for sharing! I’ve watched about half and a couple things jump out: 1. My lord! When he hits the afterburners, he is GONE! 2. Quite a few drops...which surprised me 3. Catches in the clutch: fantastic! 4. Solid in contested catches 5. YAC!!! 1
Coach Tuesday Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Man, Cousins is unimpressive. No twitch or explosion in his throws, is late on his reads, stares down his receivers, doesn’t have a cannon. Never understood the hype. (Diggs looked great.) 5
Franco_92 Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 This was posted at the time of the trade, but is well worth the refresher and great timing to get pumped up 1

I can’t believe how often he threw Diggs into pain. I almost lost a bit of sleep when the Bills were mentioned as one of cousins‘ potential suitors. Diggs is a stud IMO most versatile WR in NFL. Can do it all at a high level. Edited September 9, 2020 by Over 29 years of fanhood 3

Drop percentage 6.7%, but he still hauled in 67% of the targets thrown his way...not all of which were catchable. Previous year drop percentage was half that. 1

Yah, he is not so accurate... noticeable late throws as you mentioned,

Previous year drop percentage was half that. Yup. Wasn’t trying to say it’s a problem, just surprised me seeing them back to back to back in that limited video (they were cut so quickly it was hard for me to discern all that took place).
JerseyBills Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Saw a tweet yesterday. Diggs was 2nd behind Tyreek Hill as the most targeted WR 40 yards or beyond since 2018. Expecting a few Allen to Diggs bombs. His tracking ability , awareness and hands are 2nd to none . Legit WR1
maddenboy Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 My biggest takeaway from this is the game against the then Redskins. Everybody was open. Been saying for a couple weeks. Washington is . . . On The Clock.

Da webster guy Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 ooooh that catch at 4:17 talk about looking it all the way in to your hands thats a drop with just about anybody except maybe Nuk and Diggs.

Some really horrendous throws there.

Just think of how much better our offense would have looked vertically if he was the QB. Says a lot.

What he does have is multiple 4,000 + yard seasons passing the ball. That tends to get people's attention.
ghostwriter Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Diggs kind of reminds me of Shady McCoy personality wise.. Hard worker... chip on his shoulder... bit vocal but only because of an intense desire to win.. will probably be a team leader going forward.. 1

Put up huge numbers but when his team needed a key first down or needed him to make a play he was nowhere to be found. Cousins plays his worst when the stakes are the highest. 1

He’s a good QB, just not one who will win you many playoff games let alone a Super Bowl.
