I have no evidence of this but I think the bills were trying to slip Vincent Taylor onto the PS....but he got picked up and so they signed Slayton

He is 6'4" and played his college ball at 307 lbs.  He is said to be freakishly strong, but not a disruptive player on the inside.  He's not terribly explosive and needs work on hand fighting.  He sounds like a better fit at nose than at 3 tech, but has some upside in the hands of a good D-line coach.

The Bills didn't think anyone would pick-up Taylor.  The NT / DT spot is a weakness!
