ChevyVanMiller Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 (edited) Has us winning the division at 11-5, winning a first round playoff game and then falling to the eventual SB Champion KC Chiefs. Would you be happy with that season or disappointed? https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/29548083/simulating-entire-2020-nfl-season-scores-storylines-all-269-games-plus-super-bowl-champion Edited September 7, 2020 by ChevyVanMiller 4
thenorthremembers Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 (edited) Their simulation is almost exactly what Joe Marino had on his podcast. I anticipate something similar have to be the Pats this year though. Id take it. Edited September 7, 2020 by thenorthremembers 2
ChevyVanMiller Posted September 7, 2020 Author Posted September 7, 2020 Also, much like the SB teams from the '90s, they have the Bills getting shellacked in a couple of games - TITANS vs. BILLS 40–11 and CHARGERS @ BILLS 34–6 But has us winning this one: BILLS vs. CHIEFS 25–13 1
Michael1962 Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 It sounds like the Bills; win some that no one expects and lose some despite having more talent on paper. 2
TroutDog Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I think we’re ready to go farther...but just to see another playoff game in the Ralph would be heaven. 1

MJS Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Guess they didn't use Madden. All the Madden simulations have the Bills sucking. 1
Don Otreply Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Well, it would certainly be an improvement on last season, and a welcome step in becoming a perennial contender, it would mean our QB took the “next step” we all wanted him to take, and as good as a season as it would be, some, cough cough, here, will find fault with that level of success, but they would find fault in a SB victory as well... I would take such a season, but would prefer the whole enchilada... Go Bills!!! 1
RiotAct Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I’d consider that a pretty darn good season. 1
NewEra Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 All depends on how we played, not just the record and results. As long as josh allen takes another big step forward, I’ll take it. If he doesn’t, I’ll reject it. He’s the only thing that matters. I believe the sum of the rest of our parts are SB worthy. 1
Logic Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 The first division win in over two decades and the first playoff win in a quarter century?! Anyone who says they wouldn’t be happy with that is a loon. 5 1
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Big fan of ESPN simulations. They aren’t biased like the rest of the national media. and you want to win the SB every year but if Allen took a big step forward, this is an amazing year. 2
Mickey Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 What exactly am I taking or rejecting? That such a thing could happen? That if it did happen I would refuse to believe it? If you are asking if I would be happy with it, the answer would be happier than last year, way happier than the year before but not as happy as I would be if we went even further. I would like to reject the reality of this thread's existence but, as it clearly does exist, I am forced to take it as fact, however begrudgingly, or perhaps however curmudgeonly.
BillsFanSD Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I would take that and consider it a successful season.

I Don’t see the chargers dropping 34 on Bills with TT as QB and coming to the East Coast unless their D scores at least 14 of those points 1
Mike in Horseheads Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Getting blown out by the Chargers surprised me. Yup I'll take division and a playoff win. 1

Lol, madden is having a really rough go of it currently...the complaints about the weak gameplay and complete rubbish they call a franchise mode going back to 2013 has finally gone mainstream. 1
