Murphy on the roster may actually be only a small risk

We all know the numbers now -cutting coulda saved the Bills 8.025 mill cash and cap room and many of us felt it was a no-brainer that he would be cut or salary restructured - when Ngakoue gets 12 mill, there is no way Murphy gets 8 mill was the thinking.

 

Actually, I just realized keeping Murphy on the roster was not an 8 mill decision. His roster bonus is only 1 million. So keeping him on the roster may only cost the Bills 1 mill for now. I don’t know when the balance guarantees. Any clarifications appreciated.
