Yea but is Clowney a process and locker room guy????

Absolutely not.  Glad our guys wanted nothing to do with him.  Seems like the kinda guy Rex Ryan and Whaley would've been all over though

Cheap rental deal. About what he’s worth.

BUT... if you rent him for a year and he leaves for another team - what does that do for draft pick compensation?

Rotoworld just posted this as well, saying the Saints are still in it.

ESPN had reported Titans was pretty much a done deal too

Boy did he screw himself.. Seattle offered him $15M/yr and he turned it down... now he’s looking at a 1yr deal for $12M 👀

and the cap is going down next year 👀

Yes they are.

I think they will be worse than last year. An 8 or 9 win team.

Forget Seattle he could of got a big extension with Houston but he was asking for Khalil Mack kinda money. Then Houston and him battled over his franchise tag designation over linebacker or end. His greed has cost him huge money already. Not that he’s broke but he keeps missing that big guarantee

That makes Murphy's contract hurt a little bit more

Trent Murphy averages $7.5 million a year. How is that comparable to a $12 million a year contract?

And Seattle... who won a playoff game last season...😉

Teams just want a one year rental because they don't believe he is a long term answer. Seattle rolled the dice and realized he isn't worth it.

Are his 3 sacks that coveted?

Cleveland offered him close to $20 Mill, depending on who's information you trust.

But Clowney said money wasn't the only condition, term obviously was important to him, but he wanted to go to a contender.

I'm not gonna believe anything about a signing until I see it confirmed.
