CircleTheWagons Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Ok, maybe we started the haikus a little early last year, we probably should have waited until AFTER Miami, but that week going into the Fish game was the best time to be a Bills fan in several years - confidence with a dash of arrogance. So when do we get that feeling back, or are we too worried about prodding the bear this year? Personally, if we get out of first 6 games with 4W or better, I'll be feeling pretty good and may have to post a haiku or two. I know that the late part of our schedule is considered tough, but 4 wins after our first run through the division with a new coach will be a major accomplishment No haikus 'til then, but when teams fear Buffalo, more poems on the Wall.
Corp000085 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I remember last year going into the philly game that this team was great, but i just knew we'd lose that game. I really did. That's why i'm sorta glad that we have a bye after week 2. The bills could easily be 2-0, and have that extra week to ponder what happened last year. The jags and oak will be very tough, especially the raiders. The schedule is set up for a good early gut check. As for poetry, my poem "now i can die in peace" will hopefully be revealed after the super bowl.
