HalftimeAdjustment Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 If either of them has more trade value than Josh Rosen, wow.
Thurman#1 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 This is a Beane specialty, getting extra picks from guys who were on the bubble anyway. Go, Beane, go.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Bills probably trying to give them away for conditional 7th round picks to keep them from the Jets. 1
smuvtalker Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) Jeez that's a shock to me to see Rankins name in trade rumors...yeah he's definitely had some injury issues but when healthy this guy is a disruptive difference maker on that D Line. I'd argue he's an upgrade over any of the interior lineman we currently have on our roster...not named Ed Oliver Edited September 5, 2020 by smuvtalker

Was Winters a solid starter for the Jets at some point? We snatched him up pretty quick after the Jets let him go. But the reviews on him in camp have not been sterling to say the least. Anyone know much about Winters?

I could see a coach who watched Foster blow by his DBs 2 years ago offer a very late round pick for him. I suspect coaches tend to remember the WRs who hurt them. Speed kills. Expand Speed kills, and it seems that Daboll's offense is pretty complex and Foster struggles with it. It's possible that put him in a simpler offense he could exploit it
TigerJ Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I can't imagine that either would fetch more than a very low pick, but Beane has surprised me before.

BuffaloButt Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 If they can't find a trade partner and end up releasing Foster you know he's going to New England!

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I wonder if Croom retires, and is immediately announced as a VP of something at PS&E. 🤔 1

Expand That’s exactly right, and the team trading can “control” where the player goes (outside the division/conference). Let’s face it, Foster just isn’t in the Bills’ long term plans because of who they’ve acquired. I hope they’re able to trade him outside the conference for a conditional pick and he gets a 2nd chance. I don’t know what to make of Croom. Jokes aside, they haven’t kept him around because he’s dating the owner’s daughter. He’s a potential weapon in the passing game but apparently can’t block a toddler.
The Firebaugh Kid Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I'm going to miss Foster. He looked so promising every time he touched the football. Its unfortunate but you can't keep everyone.

Back2Buff Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I would rather have Croom on this team over Lee Smith and Kroft. Croom had a very respectable rookie season. 1
