The Frankish Reich Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I gotta admit philosopher Rachel Tuvel had a point -- if transgenderism, why not transracialism? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypatia_transracialism_controversy This is kind of a perfect storm brewing against modern academia. It appears she's a tenured professor. Her research and her book were praised by the academy. I don't know how her classroom teaching was rated. But what does GW do? Try to fire her? She ain't quitting as far as I can tell, even though she's falling all over herself apologizing. If her research is good, it's good whether or not she's been lying about her background. 2
Bray Wyatt Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 If transracialism took place, wouldnt that throw a wrench into identity politics? 1
Paulus Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) Race politics in America is like some sort of obsession. To me that is pretty, pretty, pretty offensive. Edited September 4, 2020 by Paulus 1
