Seems not. Someone commented on Twitter the Colts are like 10th in cap space still because of low dead cap.

Don't the pats have a bunch of dead cap? That might be why they are so low.

Edit: Looks like they have about $28 million in dead cap. Bills have the 2nd least in the league with $3 million dead cap.

Do we know which two are going to IR, or is that DiMarco and Sweeney he is talking about?

Sweeney was already off the count from being on the PUP list the 2nd IR player right now is a mystery.

Hodgins must have the same thing Joseph got last year...

Was just gonna post something along these lines! Stash the rookie for now and see if he develops.

Tip of my hat to these guys and Beane for working this out to make the overall team better.

Trust in each other and trust in the process!

Joe Gibbs would be proud. I wonder if Beane consults him on these kinds of moves.

Wouldn’t say it’s lucky vs educated guess that held weight....

Would you bet on that?

Ok so now their plan comes to light. They weren’t going to expose Hodgins to a waiver claim and worked out a deal with Roberts to return. Well done all around. Hodgins also doesn’t necessarily miss the season given the new IR rules.
