He has been a likely cut all offseason. I was saying it probably happens back in April when everyone was talking about their cap position. Then after the opt outs I thought maybe they could afford to keep him.... that he is cut now suggests he just got beat out.

Good point.  They got Edelman and Harry.  After that it's JAGs and UDFAs.

Ryan Izzo is their "vet" TE.

Yep. I think Meyers showed a bit of promise as a rookie but they are relying on two 2nd year players who need to take big steps and a 34 year old, broken down, slot receiver.

BB is such a genius. I hear all off-season here about how amazing he is and he'll pick up every single player that becomes available and how he poops ice cream.
