Same could be said for the Bills:

Quote

The Buffalo Bills received some good news on the injury front when wide receiver Stefon Diggs returned to practice Monday. But in today’s edition of the Bills daily links, we discuss the growing list of Bills who are sitting out with various injuries. The list includes wide receiver John Brown and defensive end Quinton Jefferson, who are out with illnesses that are not believed to be COVID-19-related, along with defensive tackle Vernon Butler, tight end Tyler Kroft, guard Quinton Spain, cornerback Josh Norman and more.

Every team will be dealing with this. No real offseason, no preseason games. Their will probably be more injuries than usual because of it.

Most of those folks for the Bills are back today, including Kroft, Spain, Brown, and Jefferson.

If true, that's actually a huge relief.  Kroft needs to stay healthy so we can actually see what he can do in this offense.

Our depth is a bit greater than the Jets though, as well as our team being basically intact from last year. The biggest problem for the Jets lies with their injuries on the offensive side of the football. Darnold is down to scraps on the outside even those scraps are starting to come up lame.

I've been reading Jets forums and camp reports just about every day.

Most Jets fans are convinced that this type of injury rash is happening all over the league. I disagree. While there are lots of soft tissue injuries so far this year, I haven't seen any other team suffering the same level of bad injury luck as the Jets so far.

I remember when it used to happen to the Bills every single year, and I thought it was just dumb luck. Then the Bills brought in a completely new strength and conditioning staff and nutritionists and spent a bazillion dollars building state-of-the-art training and rehab facilities at One Bills Drive. Lo and behold, Bills players stopped getting injured at such high rates -- knock on wood.

Anyway...in 12 days, the Bills actually get to play these jokers. It's gonna be a laugher.

I am soooooooooo looking forward to our preseason games 1 and 2.  Fish will be a slight upgrade but the Jests "should be" easy pickings.  Where is that CRAZY Spags when you need him??

Is the NFL required to make it public if a player is out with Covid-19?

No, I don't believe so. It was mentioned that they don't have to be specific yesterday with Fred Warner of the 49ers being put on the Covid list.

This.  And the players notice and know it.  That center they put in last year is SOTA and I believe it is NO coincidence at all that the Bills are a healthier squad.

Also they have a revamped OL. While they may be better on paper, the lack of practice time and preseason games will make it almost impossible to develop chemistry. Playing the Bills and 49ers the 1st two weeks is not an ideal situation for them.

Sad but very, very likely.  It's probably really stupid to laugh too loudly at other teams' health/injury misfortunes in 2020.
