YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) With Norman injury and the lack of speed at CB2 I think he would be a nice add Edited September 16, 2020 by YoloinOhio 1 1
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Was it a money issue? I'm always interested in what other teams won't pay for a given player. 1
Back2Buff Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Raiders have a really weak secondary. Getting cut from that secondary doesn't bode well. 3
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 As long as he allows the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet to use the base on his island kingdom, I remain a strong supporter. 6 1

I think he's definitely worth taking a look-see, the real question is could we afford him? I'm wondering what kind of money he's gonna be asking for... You know what though? It's a refreshing thought to know that maybe, just maybe he'd take less money to come to a team that has a good chance at winning it all. Its so nice to be on the other side of that equation for a change, instead of having to break the bank to sign top level talent...
billsfan89 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 I wouldn't hate kicking the tires. I think Norman is done, McBean is going to try and save as much money on the 2021 cap as possible and cutting Norman now rolls over a million or if you sign Prince to a low deal.

That, or Chuckie's too stressed over Peterman hanging onto the ball too long to be thinking straight about defensive concerns.

He was making nothing. Like vet min. Ok maybe not that little but his cap # was less than 1 mill Edited August 31, 2020 by YoloinOhio

Norman was very strong before his injury and he will be practicing next week. 1

I have heard mixed reports on Norman, if he was looking good and can get back soon maybe you are right. Still I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on a player for the vet minimum. 1
eball Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 I think bringing royalty into this locker room would really upset the culture. 6

Chuckie is not stressed at all with P5t5rman hanging onto the ball. No preseason games and defense needs tackling practice. 1
Coach55 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Is it just me, or has everyone written off Levi Wallace? After a solid rookie year, he did have some set-backs in a sophomore slump, but he is still a starting caliber player, entering his 3rd season (which is usually a watershed year for most players) and is probably better than most #2 CBs in the league. Yet we are continuing to look. Josh Norman clearly is an all-pro talent, but is Amukamara an upgrade? 2
thenorthremembers Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 No thanks, over 30 and has only played one full season in nine years. I don't think he is a step up from Levi Wallace, so if the Norman experiment doesnt work out just go with Wallace and call it a day. 1
DrDawkinstein Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 For a guy with his pedigree, and at his current rate, I wouldnt mind bringing him in to battle in camp and see who he beats out. 1
Nester Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Raiders are weak at CB, lets not take the ones they don't want. 2
KD in CA Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 He's the kind of low-drama guy I'd be fine with in Buffalo.

Or maybe the Prince was making Peterman look bad. Chuckie didn't want ot be proven wrong! 1
Orlando Buffalo Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 If he was cut by Raiders I have to question talent but if it was scheme issue in the NFL you always could use another good DB, not enough to go around
