Education.

Aaaaaaaaand GO!

Integration of suburban and urban students.

Stop over-policing of schools.

Equity in funding (pretty well done here in NYS, in my opinion)

Better representation of SOC in gifted and talented programs

So you're for busing and forced integration?  So who gets bused where?  Suburban to Urban or Urban to Suburban and how do you determine who goes where?

What will be accomplished by this?

Stop over-policing of schools.

     Over-policing in what way?

Equity in funding (pretty well done here in NYS, in my opinion)

Where will this funding come from?  Once it comes in then what?

Better representation of SOC in gifted and talented programs

I was just typing "pardon my ignorance, but what is SOC"  and then it hit me. Students of color.    There is one race that is very well represented in Gifted and Talented programs.  They have been for decades.  In your mind, why is that?

My responses are above.

Hoax.  We have dead people in Kenosha because a vigilante with a rifle unnecessarily put himself in a bad spot.

And, let’s not get distracted here.  You apparently believe in equality of outcome.  That, sir, is socialist.  Or maybe even communist.  You’d think the intellectual standard bearer of the alt-wrong would know this.  But you don’t.  Or maybe it’s that you’re a secret communist.  That, frankly, seems more likely.

Stop wasting taxpayer dollars and get back to work!

So now we're holding people accountable for 'unnecessarily putting yourself in a bad spot'?   Oh!  Guess we can stop with all the faux outrage over criminals getting shot while resisting arrest, huh?

If a girl at a frat party kills a guy trying to rape her, it’s her fault for putting herself in a bad situation?

Notice the renaissance of the "She was asking for it by wearing a short skirt" defense lately?   By an apparent attorney, no less.

Can someone explain to me why the cops were dealing with this man and why he got shot?  What were the circumstances here?

Thank you.

(Yes, I know what happened I'm trying to prove a point that everything is stupid).

We were having a discussing with my dad several years ago about this.  His "lady friend" at the time was quietly sipping her cocktail as we discussed it.  Then my dad dropped the "she was asking for it...." and his friend said "oh ***** you!!"  It was awesome.  Should have married her dad. I would have loved having her as a step-mom.  LOL

PPP does a fantastic job of pointing out every day that "everything is stupid."

@SectionC3

???

Oh, forgot about that.  Where's the money coming from?  Same place as every other like initiative.  State and federal budget.  You'll probably say, "But you're not specific!"  OK.  So I'll start with taking all of the monies dedicated to the Trump Wall, which apparently can be destroyed with a rubber mallet, and directing them toward this purpose.

Other points:  no cops with visible guns within schools.  Not necessary.  Adds to feeling militarization of schools.  And intimidates SOC, who already have enough problems trusting police.

And on the trust point?  Community policing.  No-brainer. Buffalo is going back to it (in baby steps).  Should be the same everywhere.  Can't have the paramilitary types from Wales policing people in Buffalo.  Problems are inevitable.

Let's do the math.  A quick search shows that $3.8b has been allocated to the wall.   There are 50,000,000 students in the us.  That allocates a whopping $76 per student.  Awesome!

No cops with guns.  Not necessary.  I agree.  So  cops with guns ONLY intimidates students of color.  Please link to the research that shows that.  You mention that SOC have more problems than SWOC have.  What are those problems and where do those problems arise from?

Your last point.  Not sure what you're referring to in our conversation.

You didn't address my response to you regarding forced integration. Please explain how this will work and what will be the benefits.  I'm not saying there are no benefits of this I just would like to hear from you.

You also didn't address my final point about why some SOC have done extremely well on gifted and talented programs while others have not?   Why have some done very well while others have not?  What are the differences between those that excel and those that don't?
