The starting #Jets offense, working against the backups, had six possessions. They scored 0 points, turned it over three times (INT, two fumbles), punted three times and picked up five total first downs.

Starting D wasn’t any better.

Final score
Backups: 27
Starters: 0

Let’s keep our expectations reasonable after we destroy the Jest 52-3 in week 1.

no fans, so I’m thinking more like 38-10.

If it was just the #1 offense versus the backup defense,  then how did the D score 27 points?  What did the Defense do, all of them played both ways?

Typically coaches score events.

Pick = Points

Fumble= Points

Punts another point value.

Only in Jersey.
What a mess they have on their hands.
After they destroy Darnold I can see the Jets as the new browns/lions/bills for the next 10 years constantly hovering as a bottom 10 team. (Not that they’ve been much better than that recently)

Turnovers worth 7 points each, punts 2 points each?  Would add up to 27.

Yeah that could be, I have seen all different types of points assigned when I played, It seems to be very coach specific.
