JimBob2232 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 OBVIOUS TRADE ALERT, Though still speculation Washington will trade their #9 and #25 to move up to #2 and select Braylon Edwards. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...-2005Apr19.html One NFL source who has spoken to officials from many clubs said he expected the Redskins to trade the first-round picks for a better selection that would allow them to draft Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards, considered by many to be the best player available in the draft. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oD...ov=ap&type=lgns ``We have quite a few needs,'' (Saban) said. ``To have the second pick in the draft and then not a pick until the third round doesn't give us the opportunity that I would like to have to solve several problems in the draft.'' You heard it here first.

ROCCEO Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Id laugh so hard if they fell out of 2 to the 9 spot and a RB didn't fall to them. That to me would be hilarious, as long as they didnt get Alexander or Edge for the 25 pick. That to me, would suck balls. Although we did absolutely OWN alexander last year IN SEATTLe playing behind a line way beter than the one in Miami.
34-78-83 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Makes a whole lot more sense than a Clements trade.

/dev/null Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 IMO it would take more than the #9 and #25 maybe next years 2nd rounder too

ndirish1978 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Miami pulls the trigger on that trade and gets an impact player at 9 as well as trading for RB i say they make out like bandits
stuckincincy Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Gee, those long-ball throwing cannon arms on the WAS squad can't wait...
BillsFanForever19 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 It's definitely plausible, but I don't think it will happen. I'd bet that the Dolphins are going to use that pick for Ronnie Brown, Cedric Benson, or Aaron Rodgers. The Redskins are going to stay put if you ask me. They'll take Pac-Man Jones at 9 and Jason Campbell at 25. I think you'll see Minnesota package their #7 and #18 to move up to Cleveland's #3 to ensure that they get Braylon Edwards to replace Randy Moss though.
