Sad.

If it wasn't for Wayne Gretzky and the Oilers, Hawerchuk would have been the best player in the Western Conference in the 80's.

Yes he was a dam good player for a long time during the heyday of hockey in the modern era.  Very sad.  RIP Dale.  God bless you and your family!!

Sad.. another good guy leaves us.. a decent nice guy and an exceptional talent..

I know Covid is out there and a concern to us all and an obvious headline grabber.

However, this is a reminder that the super villain “C” word is still out there and robbing us of our friends and family too soon.

...still the all time leading a**hole in the disease world.

Peace to you and your family, Dale.

Just hearing this now, a few days late.

Wow.  Sorry to hear this news.

Hawerchuk belongs on a very short list of best Sabres ever.

Reminder that life is short.  If you have choice to sit it out or dance...dance.

When it's all over, all we are going to have to show for our time is accrued experiences.

And yet many (most?) choose to not dance, metaphorically speaking, because it makes them feel uncomfortable or embarrassed or.....

Go for it and keep trying to find new things in life.
