tl;dr version:

 

The CFL doesn't have fat TV contracts, so they rely on ticket sales. If you can't fill the stadium, you can't make any money.

As a fellow Canadian, that's unfortunate eh but ultimately the right call. 

 

I'm fine with calling 2020 a wash and starting up again in 2021 when things settle.

The thing is.... I’d watch CFL any day of the week now. Except Sundays.

 

Theres no football happening this year. Seems like this could be a positive for the CFL.
