poblano Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 And people here is forgetting that a 1000yds season for him is a 6-10 season for the team (8-8 at best), so keep feeding the Jets media.

Not sure it was possible to get him to 1000 yards. I think thats when his cleats which he has been wearing since high school ripped He couldn't afford a new pair

McD despite all his talk about competing for positions and playing time made that decision the moment they signed Gore. McCoy was a good teammate and would have been good for Singletary. C.Biscuit97 Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 I mean through 6 games, he was on pace. But when you have a 53 year old rb, they lose their legs. Probably should have saved him for later in the season. but guy is a freak and keeps getting checks as a rb. I wish him well for 14 games a year.
DCOrange Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 If he's including receiving yards, it's not impossible that he could have done it, but he was barely on pace for that before Singletary started getting a bigger workload and it's entirely possible if not probable that his production would have declined as the season went along even if he were getting the same touches that Singletary did. At any rate, doesn't really matter and I wish him the best.

This game was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the post about FG claiming he would have got 1000. Still bothers me.
Malazan Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 I hope the Jets do everything they can to get him a 1000 yard season 1

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Frank Gore was without question, the worst player on our roster last season and quite possibly one of the worst players in the entire league. The guy is beyond done. I hope that the Jets give him that heavy work load. Please do that. 1
GunnerBill Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Is the season 52 weeks long? I still reckon Frank would have been on 999
