That discount is the reason I was expecting a contract south of 18 mill AAV if Tre is signed early. When you expect a 20 mill AAV for Tre, was that after the discount or was that fair AAV? If 20 mill is fair AAV, why should Bills extend him now? With the cap expected to decline next year, they can wait.

nicely done Beane. and nicely done Tre. Tre gave up about 10 mill over 4 years to have certainty and avoid a Clowney / Ngakoue type situation.

Edmunds has 2 years plus 5th year option. You have him for 3 more seasons. In 2 years a lot of contracts expire. They will be able to sign whomever they choose to
