Good to hear. I would think both have a shot to make the roster or possibly protected on the practice squad.

Davis is basically a lock. Very very few round 4 picks get cut.

Just an unacceptable answer here from John Brown. He didn’t even answer the question and he had ample chance to explain what he’s helped the rookies with.

He’s had months to prepare!

THIS is amazing to hear. If these two rookies come in and immediately contribute? Lights out. We already have Beasley, Brown, and Diggs. If you can rotate the two rookies in and everyone stays fresh all game? Our offense is going to be a juggernaut.

Sounds good to me!  The rook wants to play...not ride the pine...thats the attitude to have knowing the playbook and what to do.  First step in the process.....

Gabriel Davis was drafted in April. This is not the answer to give on August 10th!!!!!!

What would be more acceptable to you?

That they misplaced their playbooks and don't know where to line up? ;)

John Brown is a great guy to have in the room with rookie WRs, I remember in some of his interviews last year talking about how much Larry Fitzgerald helped him and wanting to pay it forward.

Should add this to the "Duke off COVID list" thread -- if Hodgins knows the playbook that well already, bye bye Duke.

I'm sure his comments were somewhat in jest and was just meant to talk them up, but also does mean they are both looking real good and he's impressed with their play.  Whether they truly know the playbook better who knows, but does sound like it was somewhat of a shot at some vets that may not know it any better or at least not as well as expected than the two rookies.

May be just trying to give a wake up call to McKenzie, Roberts and Foster that you better up you're game or be gone.
