loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Good to hear. I would think both have a shot to make the roster or possibly protected on the practice squad.
Mountain Man Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Sounds like they are ready to take Duke Williams roster spot. His social media fans won't be happy. 12 3

JoshAllenHasBigHands Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Sooooo at the risk of being that overdramatic fan that reads too far into everything: those vets that don't know the playbook are Foster and Duke, right? 3 15
Patrick Duffy Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 This is good. Many weapons as Allen can get. 3 1
FireChans Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Just an unacceptable answer here from John Brown. He didn’t even answer the question and he had ample chance to explain what he’s helped the rookies with. 24 2

H2o Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 THIS is amazing to hear. If these two rookies come in and immediately contribute? Lights out. We already have Beasley, Brown, and Diggs. If you can rotate the two rookies in and everyone stays fresh all game? Our offense is going to be a juggernaut. 4 1 1

Kwai San Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Sounds good to me! The rook wants to play...not ride the pine...thats the attitude to have knowing the playbook and what to do. First step in the process..... 2

Protocal69 Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I remember right after Gabe Davis was drafted he basically said I respect the Vet WRs but I'm trying to take someone's job. 5 1 1
MAJBobby Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Buh Bye Duke Williams and Robert Foster 10 2 1
Warcodered Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 John Brown is a great guy to have in the room with rookie WRs, I remember in some of his interviews last year talking about how much Larry Fitzgerald helped him and wanting to pay it forward. 8 1 1
eball Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Should add this to the "Duke off COVID list" thread -- if Hodgins knows the playbook that well already, bye bye Duke. 1
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I'm sure his comments were somewhat in jest and was just meant to talk them up, but also does mean they are both looking real good and he's impressed with their play. Whether they truly know the playbook better who knows, but does sound like it was somewhat of a shot at some vets that may not know it any better or at least not as well as expected than the two rookies. May be just trying to give a wake up call to McKenzie, Roberts and Foster that you better up you're game or be gone. 3
