(I bet they would have beat KSU.) Like Kirby said, this was going to be a big big year for the Bulls. There was even some chatter about RB Jaret Patterson being on the Heisman watch list. KSU would've been a hell of a game. Probably tougher than Minnesota in 2017. And they're super physical. Wouldve been rough to pull off but would've been great I don't know if Matt Myers or vantrease could handle that for 4 quarters tho Edited August 8, 2020 by Buffalo716 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 (edited) This sucks. Thanks to all the idiots who cried like like female dogs about wearing masks and their “rights” being violated. It’s only going to get worse. I am trying so hard to be positive about the Bills season but it’s so hard to see how it makes it all the way through. hope everyone got their haircuts though! also, the players from P5 can really stick it too conferences if they really wanted to push it. They have these schools over the barrel. Edited August 8, 2020 by C.Biscuit97 1 Quote

Just not enough firepower on the schedule and they're really good but I don't even know if they could go undefeated in the Mac this season. Maybe a 7-1 6-2 Mac season The Mac is just a league of matchups. And unfortunately you can't match up good against everybody. There's a few teams that could give UB problems I did expect a MAC championship tho when all was said and done Why? I love UB. I've had season tickets since day one The vast majority of the kids can't play in the NFL. Like 99% They have a few NFL players Max. And they probably have 30 seniors and redshirt juniors I really feel like this year the talent gap vs. the rest of the MAC was significant. I could have seen a win at K State to start the year and then some momentum. They could have beaten everyone but Ohio State. If they had gotten to 7-1, 8-1 or whatever they would have been very much in the mix to be ranked. They could have been viewed like App State or someone like that. But instead, due to continued self-centered behavior, we are probably looking at 2021 before any real advances are made. 1 Quote

It's possible they can beat KState but that was gonna be a hell of a dogfight. Idk if they have enough firepower for 4 quarters and lose a close one Miami OH, Ohio and Toledo all pose very good threats as well at some point in the season or MAC championship. There is not a huge difference between teams Also it comes down to quarterback for UB. They went for Matt Myers last year in the beginning which was a mistake and I knew it, vantrease is better and more steady, but it would probably all come down to how much he improved from last year I could see them winning the MAC championship but being a 3-4 loss team. Honestly 2021 is going to be really good Edited August 8, 2020 by Buffalo716 Quote

par73 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 (edited) Also talk about the Big Ten cancelling, per PFT. Would pretty much put an end to the season. Edited August 8, 2020 by par73 Quote

Especially if Patterson was on a roll. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 So just for argument sake, you have 6 northeastern schools that want to play: Syracuse, UB, Boston College, Rutgers, Pitt and Penn State. Could they create a one-off conference and play 10 games? Could they find some last- minute TV money? Quote
