You have proof they are embezzling?  If it’s true then yes they should be charged and sentenced accordingly. Until then I’ll wait.

And if I disagree I should send them MORE money. What makes you think I’ve sent them any money?  You are very presumptuous which is a terrible look.

And I love the use of the word “some” in your first sentence. So you’re saying there might be some embezzlement going in there too?  If so why are you not so adamant about investigating the government as you are the NRA. Again contributing to the NRA is voluntary whereas taxes are not.

...since when is PROOF a prerequisite BEFORE accusations?..................

Whenever the far left loses a debate, it doesn’t sharpen its arguments or seek compromise. Instead, it criminalizes those with whom it disagrees. That’s happening now in New York, where the attorney general is making a politicized attack on the National Rifle Association and the U.S. Constitution.

New York’s Democratic and radically anti-Trump Attorney General Letitia James’ move to “dissolve” the NRA comes after a phony “fraud” investigation that was launched as an intimidation tactic.

he suit against the National Rifle Association targets the group’s charismatic Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and three other NRA leaders.

“The NRA’s influence has been so powerful that the organization went unchecked for decades while top executives funneled millions into their own pockets,” James said. “The NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse.”

But, really, James seems more interested in angling for a high-profile job in a future socialist White House than seeking justice. Charges that lavish spending by four executives led to $64 million in losses over three years doesn’t bear even casual financial scrutiny.

The NRA is not taking it lying down. It filed a countersuit late Thursday, with NRA President Carolyn Meadows calling James’ effort “a baseless, premeditated attack on our organization and the Second Amendment freedoms it fights to defend.”

Yup.

It’s obvious New York’s move isn’t about justice; it’s about the hard-left’s political animus toward gun rights.

But it’s typical of New York’s politicized justice system. Manhattan’s ultra-Democratic District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. has been investigating President Donald Trump with the same vigor and fidelity to truth as Christopher Steele “investigated” Trump’s supposed collusion with the Russians.

Riiiight. Because guns pull their own triggers. Nothing to do with the person

with the gun. Also, I somehow doubt it's whites that are killing blacks in their

community, just a hunch. Ya can't tackle a problem if you're in denial of what the problem is.

Blaming someone else for your own woes is so weak.

New York’s Lawless NRA Lawsuit

National Review, by The Editors

Original Article

The latest bananas news from the banana republic that is the State of New York: The attorney general, a political enemy of the National Rifle Association, is seeking to have the advocacy organization legally dissolved. The pretext is financial corruption and self-dealing on the part of the NRA’s leadership. To say that the corruption case is pretextual is not to say that it is made up out of whole cloth. The NRA, once the most effective organization of its kind, has indeed been mired in incompetent leadership and financial mismanagement for years

Leaders of the NRA are taking donations supposedly in support of the 2nd amendment and putting it in their own pockets. That's a felony, no matter what else you bring up. The leaders who committed these crimes should be charged and put on trial.

Do you disagree?

Not one bit. If they're acquitted, will you STFU?

Heard Texas AG speak on Fox. He said NRA should come to Texas, plus they never should have incorporated in NYS to begin with.

Of course.

Want to make a wager on whether the people in question did the accused crimes?

Me, no.

Vets that got a disability claim for PTSD after they got out, or people who saw a counselor during a nasty divorce and were diagnosed with depression, yes. The latter instance I know of one person, the former i know of second hand.

And don't get me started in the Red Flag laws...

Do you really want someone with a mental disability to carry a weapon?

As to the divorce...  Can't say.  But there are enough stories out there about jealous X spouses doing dumb things.

How long can a diagnosis of depression last?   A lifetime or maybe a year or two?

Get  a clean bill of health and present that with the documentation when they try again.
