freester Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I suspect that this is what will happen. Gregg Williams wants Nate, and he will soon be the head coach of the Redskins.

RVJ Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Gardner was the 14th pick in the first round (2001) He wants to be traded. Skins looking for a 2nd round pick. To trade for Clements it would have to be the 25th pick , Gardner, and Arrington...then i might think about it.
Like A Mofo Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I need Advil. In fact give me a bottle of whiskey too after reading yet another NC trade proposal!!!
Rico Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I need Advil. In fact give me a bottle of whiskey too after reading yet another NC trade proposal!!! 310487 JP-era left a lot of disciples behind. Here's to TD standing pat on draft day, with not even TH moving.

JoeF Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I think the deal is: Nate Ralph Wilson Our 7th rounder for Gregg's sweater collection The US Capitol Selections 9 and 25 in the first round Karl Rove Tim Russert (reacquisition) Player to be named later (rumored to be Tom DeLay)
LabattBlue Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 JP-era left a lot of disciples behind. Here's to TD standing pat on draft day, with not even TH moving. 310514 I have been wondering if one of the current wallers with a penchant for outlandish trade proposals is JP-era reincarnated?

LabattBlue Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I need Advil. In fact give me a bottle of whiskey too after reading yet another NC trade proposal!!! 310487 We need more TH & NC combo trade proposals. A popular favorite would be NC & TH for a pick in the middle of the first round, which we could then use to draft................ MATT JONES....HoF early inductee!
Rubes Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I don't get the joke. Please explain. 310440 Maybe you should Google "reach around"...
kasper13 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Trade Clements now or he walks after this season and get nothing for him. He will get 6 years/$42-$45 million with a big bonus from Washington next year. Bills will not match that and he is not worth that. I am all for trading him now but it has to be Washington's 9th pick in the first round. Trade Henry to TB or Philly for a 2nd. With the money saved on Clements and Henry the Bills can grab the LT K. Barnes with the 9th overall, the kicker from Ohio State in the 2nd and a CB with the 55th pick. Bills can get three quality players in the first 55 picks for Nate Clements and Travis Henry and save needed cap space on top of that.
ndirish1978 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 just cause its 4/20 doesnt mean you have to POST while HIGH
ndirish1978 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 skins will trade 2 1st rounders to get edwards with the phins pick
Nanker Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I suspect that this is what will happen. Gregg Williams wants Nate, and he will soon be the head coach of the Redskins. 310412 Now I know it's been a long and boring offseason, but this is just the most outlandish rumor yet. Just exactly how do you expect Nate Clements to become the Head Coach of the Warshingtun Wedskins when he hasn't even been a position coach yet?!!!!!
