BillsDiehard Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Jets releasing him...would be an immediate upgrade at RG and he's a Jet which can only help us with game planning. 1

Doc Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 The next question is: is he really an upgrade? And at what price? 1
DFT Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 He’s a decent option. I’d prefer him over kicking Ford inside. 1
Irv Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 With a name like Winters he'd fit right in Buffalo. 1 6 1 1

Mark80 Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I think i'm going to pass on Jets re-treads thank you very much.

Buffalo_Stampede Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Depends how the Bills feel about the depth at OG. I think they're comfortable with the depth. If Feliciano goes on IR then it's possible but I don't see that happen.
billsbackto81 Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Meh....Far from exciting, but for the right price I wouldn't mind it. 1
GunnerBill Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Strange decision from the Jets for my money. Winters isn't a star but he is a solid league average starter type. I know they brought in Lewis from Baltimore last year and Van Roten from Carolina this year but even if he was beat out for both starting guard spots Winters would have been solid depth for a team that has fielded some bad lines in recent years. Teams that cut oline depth when they don't need to always confuse me. It is one of the things I like most about Beane. The last two offseasons he has overstocked at OL after the 2018 disaster. We are not in that one injury from disaster position. 6
TigerJ Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I think I'd rather the Bills wait and see if there bight be a better use for their available cap space than Winters. The still have starter level talent and depth even if Feliciano misses the entire season.
Locomark Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 At first I’m thinking you meant Frank Winters because he’s the only decent Winters to play in their league. Let’s just say I would take 54 year old Frank Winters over 27 year old Brian Winters. Pass... 1
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Wonder if teams will be waiting until the Opt our period is over to sign FAs like this. I can see some guys signing and then immediately opting out. (Im not sure how the salary works During 2020 if you opt out though). 1
