This means more to the Left and their lackeys than the dozens shot outside a funeral home in Chicago.

Apparently, black lives only matter when they're politically expedient.

Funny how the OP starts a thread because he's upset that a woman who calls everyone names is upset because someone called her a name...

Yet the OP has nothing to say...no thread...no outrage about BLM doing this to a two-year-old.

Typical leftist.

Perhaps this just indicates the homicidal maniacs are getting much more efficient by going directly to the supplier of funeral services with the bodies which eliminates all the middle steps in the process.  One step better might be to kill their victims at the Cemetery next time.

Ted was out of line saying that about AOC.  Even though she's a drama queen who gets a lot of publicity and mileage about taking a pro-poor and pro-working class stance on almost every issue without really doing anything to help anyone there is a certain level of civility required.  And while some of the things she says are illogical and approaching stupidity our government is full of stupid people at all levels and there's no need for name calling.  She's certainly going to be re-elected in November.

Her overall behavior has been aligned the Democratic strategy since day one of the Trump administration.  Accomplish nothing under Trump's watch regardless of the costs and consequences.  The current plan for these "protests" is to continue them up until November 3rd.  And if Biden wins the fires and rioting will be absent from the streets the next day.  If Trump were to pull off another victory then we'll witness multiple lawsuits and court motions at all levels with more rioting and anarchy than before.

When POTUS gets his second term, if the riots continue I'm sure he will call in the guard. At that point he will have nothing to lose. So they falsely impeach him again, won't find him guilty and he will finish the term.

Pretty sure that the only reason he hasn't used the guard now is that he knows the unrest is helping him. Which is a little disingenuous, but he didn't start it.

Yoho with AOC, Matt Gaetz (and prez Lumpy too) vs Liz Cheney...Roy Den Hollander (the "anti-feminist" lawyer) vs the family of judge Esther Salas...it has been a great week so far for the GOP.

Yes, without fear of any consequences of the election the administration will have more latitude in dealing with the leftist riots.  My suspicion is their commitment and zeal for anarchy isn't as high as we might believe when they're getting hauled off to jail for a long stretch. Most likely a Federal facility with no WiFi or streaming services that doesn't serve soy lattes.

The hypocrisy is stunning.  The crazy-eyed socialist who tosses off insults like tic tacs, representing a party that has defined people who don't support their manifesto in terms such as...criminal...racist...homophobic...xenophobic..and of course traitorous.  She suggested that then Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh "doesn't deserve to pass a 7th grade health test", and the list goes on and on.

Yoho says he didn't say it, there's no evidence that he said it, it's reasonable to assume she's lying.

Come on, if he did use those words, and he said he didn't, it's mild compared to what she and other Dems have called the president, his family and other republicans

Yup. Like when she said children at the border are being forced to "drink out of toilets." ?

You mean it was wrong of Rashida Talib to call Trump a motherf****r even before she was first sworn in as a squad member?

Jennifer Rubin:

She took to the floor to rebut Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.) for his non-apology over his verbal assault on her earlier in the week, during which he reportedly called Ocasio-Cortez a “f---ing b---h.” (Yoho has denied using the slur.) Had Yoho made an equivalent statement concerning an African American male colleague, leadership would have been under pressure to condemn him, strip him of privileges (as was the case in handling remarks made by Rep. Steve King of Iowa) or even boot him from the House. With a woman as the victim, they were prepared to do exactly nothing.

Ocasio-Cortez elegantly skewered not only Yoho but the men who silently stand by after such displays. “This issue is not about one incident. It is cultural,” she said. “It is a culture of . . . impunity, of accepting of violence and violent language against women, and an entire structure of power that supports that.” She pointed to Trump as well, recalling his comment that four congresswomen of color (including herself) — each of them U.S. citizens — should “go back” to where they came from. She added: "Having a daughter does not make a man decent. Having a wife does not make a decent man. Treating people with dignity and respect makes a decent man. And when a decent man messes up, as we all are bound to do, he tries his best and does apologize.”

Instead, today’s Republican Party rewards displays of insensitivity, disrespect, meanness and bigotry as a sign one will not be contained by “elites” or “political correctness.” It tolerates support for the Confederate flag and white nationalism. It ignores protesters screaming in the faces of health-care workers to protest one’s right to go mask-less, thereby endangering others. The culture of bullying and the disdain for others is not an incidental part of the GOP; it is central to its identity.

A party that disdains government should not run for office. A party that celebrates rudeness, incivility, meanness and bigotry should be shunned. Rehabilitation for the GOP? It’s impossible to imagine, given its cast of characters.
