Race relations are going crazy in this country, because people think everybody is racist When it is literally a tiny tiny tiny majority. If you don't agree with somebody you get call a racist now For having a different opinion Tiny, tiny, tiny majority? How’s that possible?

A deputy spotted the vehicle and was trailing doing 80 in a 45 and observed him passing in a no passing zone. If this were true, Ed would have been charged (at a minimum) with speeding, and probably reckless driving. Which means it’s not true. 2

Not for suspected speeding, no. It was for reported erratic driving. Cops can have cause to respond without initially witnessing a reported act. That's the basis of 9-1-1, isn't it? I think you knew that.

This is such a touchy subject that civil conversation is the only way to move forward Ad hominem attacks, name-calling and such only throws us further back and it seems like only the people who scream the loudest get heard Unfortunately most of the good people in this country are not vocal, maybe it's time for that to change 2

I agree that "good" majority needs to stand together and squelch that bad minority of racists. I think that's what we're seeing across the country the last few months. If he did, then he’s a pretty ***** cop since there were no speeding or reckless driving charges. They can't charge someone for speeding unless they clock him or document speeding or reckless driving. They can't charge him because someone said he was speeding. It was the cause for pulling him over. If I call 9-1-1 on you for speeding and reckless driving and cops subsequently find you at a red light--they can't charge you for those things. It would be the premise for the stop though. Pretty simple. You understand this so what is your point? 5 minutes ago, eball said: I’m saying clearly no deputy witnessed this or “trailed” Ed at those speeds. I've had friends of every single ethnicity and I've only judged on the content of character I've seen my father give out food to poor and homeless, and give money to the poor and homeless Maybe it is a disservice, because I truly believe everybody is good like that, even though I know there are scumbags 2 minutes ago, eball said: You’re not trying to mislead or distract, you’re doing what the “majority” have done for too long — you want everyone to look the other way and say “mistakes happen — most people are good.” That’s no longer good enough. The post I quoted said the deputy WITNESSED erratic lane changes and trailed Ed at excessive speed, both of which are absolutely sufficient to bring charges. 1
oldmanfan Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Good for you Ed. Now grow up and either stop drinking while driving or hire yourself a driver.
