Why don't these officials just ask their constituents what they think instead of enforcing these things?

I, for one, do not fear the virus and would gladly attend Bills games, or any other NFL and/or college games for that matter.

We have been living in fear for 5 months now. It's time for us to get over ourselves.

If I have to wear a mask in the stadium,, I will do it.

Life is a risk and being told not to do something in this country after being locked down for 5 months just doesn't fly.

Except that Cuomo isn't the governor of NJ...

Well I think it's a safe bet that he won't be allowing fans in Buffalo this season.

bad sign? NJ is not the first state banning fans in the stands...

That is true however it is the closest state to NY to do so

I’m not sure if this is pandemic related or just trying to reduce the cost of emotional/therapeutic care.

Could be a good call either way...... ?‍♂️

It’s all but assured the Bucs aren’t going to have fans either.  They stopped selling tickets a couple of weeks ago, and with the spike, it’s just a matter of time before the three FL teams close down their stadiums.

Why does that fact make it a "bad sign"?

If there's one person I sort of feel sorry for, it's 'Captain Jet'.

What about fireman Ed?

Games are going to feel like a scrimmage.

Strongly disagree.  Have you ever played football on a decent level?  These guys are constantly competing for jobs and their careers.  You go half speed, you’re going to get cut or injured.  It’s like UFC.  Obviously a crowd helps but it’s still a battle and you can’t go at it half speed.

I just got e-mail from the Jets this morning. I am a Jets season ticket holder despite being a Bills fan. While yesterday's announcement said there will be no fans at games but if things change they will sell individual tickets and season ticket holders get first crack at them. I am not holding my breath but it would great if that happened as I would definitely get the Bills game if this were the case.

so this means the blackout rules will be lifted everywhere... see, a silver lining

The NFL stopped blacking out games back in 2015.
