NFL reveals COVID-19 protocols under negotiation with players' union

Teams and players also are being told that they will not be allowed to leave their hotel rooms to eat in or otherwise use restaurants that are open to the public. (They will be allowed to use room service and contactless food-delivery services.)

Kind of surprised about having to eat in their hotel rooms.  I'd have thought they would allow team to go to private room at hotel reserved for team only and let players eat together all 6 feet apart, may require shifts to fit everyone.  And no one is allowed to pass the salt!

I can't help but get super negative about the prospects of a full season every time I read articles about things like this.  Of course the plague hits when the Bills were supposed to have an up year.  Here's hoping I guess...

This is all such a joke. 50% capacity on busses/planes? Empty seats between players? Give me a break. These precautions are all for show, do not make a bit of difference, and will not prevent the spread of the disease.  The only shot the NFL has is if they sequester the players for the season--which we know will not happen. There is no chance this season happens.
