Pete Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I broke my fall with my hands and now my left arm hurts when I try and straighten it or bend it. Any suggestions how to treat it? The pain is around the elbow and tricep. My back brake pads are shot( I didnt realize how bad). I was cranking and hit both my front and back brakes and only the front worked.
BF_in_Indiana Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Try some ice. It's probably sprained. I gotta ask you, why do people insist on doing stuff like that on their motorcycles? It screws with the brakes and you can get hurt bad.

BF_in_Indiana Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Its a bicycle and I wasnt screwing around 309936[/snapback] Ah I figured it as being a motorcycle. Usually people do endos on those sports bikes. I saw a video of a guy doing one that crashed into the back of another rider. It was terrible.
Phlegm Alley Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I just healed (not 100% however) from 2 fractured wrists that I endured while playing indoor touch football. I had been rendered unable to type until the doc cleared me a couple days ago.

If anybody is interested in more info PM my with your E-Mail address, and I will get back to. This is a must have system and it does not cost that much.
UConn James Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Guys, it sounds like the hard braking (and subsequent revelation that one didn't work) was done out of necessity, not for sh--s and giggles. As for the injury, Pete, get a date with a nurse.

Just took like Motrin or something like that. Still, I did have it checked out by an orthopedic surgeon because I was in there any way for knee pain. What a mess I was
