I remember the day I saw The Russians Are Coming as a kid in Hamburg. Great entertainment for me. He made it to 98, that’s a long and full life.

RIP

Those East German commies being fairly close must have heightened the tension.  ?

Actually, it just dawned on me we still had the US cottage at the time the film was released, and my family saw this at the Grandview Drive In, in Angola...(New York)  ?

Love the Dick Van D show, it still holds up to this day.

Reiner had a good career, and that show was the pinnacle of his success.

RIP, Sir.

This was on CBS Sunday morning last month. Two legends funny right up to the end.

On Seinfelds 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' he ended up on one of the shows getting together with them at one of their houses where they would watch TV at night together

RIP to one of the greats.

His passing reminds of one of the greatest mysteries in the world.  How in the world did somebody with such an exquisite sense of humor father such a humorless self aggrandizing 'meathead?'

Condolences to the entire Reiner family on his passing.
