Over 29 years of fanhood Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Never saw him as a fit with the type of offense BB liked to run. Should be interesting 1
atlbillsfan1975 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Good, beat Belichick with a proven QB. No excuses from the Pats. Let’s see how Cam and Bill get along. 3 1 1
whatdrought Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Bills fans getting bent out of shape on this is peak bills fan. 2 3

Super weird signing for them I thought. They must really not like Hill as a QB. Reportedly Payton thinks that Hill is a franchise QB, but there's zero evidence of that and evidence to the contrary. I would think that Winston took the job demanding to be the #2 QB. 1
RyanC883 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 this sucks. and is another reason why the Bills should have signed him. He is better than Brady at this point. 1

Rc2catch Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 I was saying this would happen before last season even ended. Bill was going to try his mimic of the Baltimore offense. And Cam is just that. Between white, Michel and Cam they have a nasty little read option team that can run and throw short passes. If cam is healthy this is a big get for them. Personally I don’t think he can take hits anymore and similar to a running back his body has just can’t handle the load it takes to be the kind of quarterback he is.

Chicken Boo Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Damn...kinda knew this would happen, but after he sat on the FA shelf for so long, I thought it was becoming unlikely. I knew Bill liked the thought of a dual threat QB.

billsfan89 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Very interesting, I think Cam was better off redshirting a year so to speak to get himself healthy but maybe the Pats are planning on doing that?
Penfield45 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 2019 total offense team rankings: New England: 7th Buffalo: 23rd now imagine Cam instead of a geriatric Brady. 1 1

We say this about every player that goes to NE and then they magically revive their careers. how are Bills fans so blind not to admit this lol I doubt that will be our issue the question is can Josh Allen have a good game against Bellichecks defense He is bad independent of the injury, and the toll his body has taken over the years means that even though he's technically recovered from the shoulder thing, he is hardly going to be springy, spry, and gung-ho for contact out there.

Big Blitz Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Not remotely concerned. Gronk and that D were a bigger problem for us. 1

Honestly, I think this pencils them in for the AFC championship game. He may melt down under the bright lights, but I expect NE to go no worse than 12-4.
