To whit: Your intolerance of peaceful protests, your intolerance of American voices uplifted in unison for a cause, while stumbling about blindly yelling that state-sponsored infection of our most vulnerable population, marks you as very easily manipulated. Your acceptance that the agonizing and lonely death certain to follow reflects a real crackerjack job of pandemic management marks you as gullible. Further, when viewed in the context of support for protests this summer, Cuomo’s failure to address the hundreds of thousands of people protesting in the streets—no social distancing, poor mask discipline, shouting and screaming and In some cases rioting and looting—would by his own definition cause a massive spike in cases and deaths. He’s knuckles deep in the death and chaos, but he’s got you out pimping for him. Chapter 7: Pay Attention, Dipsh8t. ”If ya always fall for what ya always fell for before, ya best get some bandaids because you’re about to skin your knee again. LS, PhD Knower of Stuff Btw, it’s poor form not to address a question asked in good faith, and I believe you were sincere on the question regarding the trip to the Church. I think it’s fairly standard fare for a president to go where he wants to go, when he wants to go, and when he goes, the area is cleared. I think, for example, if Joe Biden chose Albany to meet with Indira Ghandi- a definite possibility— I think his team would evaluate the route for threats, devise a route to travel and push forward with those plans. If I ran out in the middle of them street as the motorcade approached, I believe strongly that I would be dealt with swiftly and decisively, and the likelihood of injury to me would be high. I do not believe the motorcade would stand down or seek and alternate route. Likewise, if a substantial number of activists rush to block the road, the response increases exponentially. So, I didn’t spend much time worrying about the response then, and don’t now. I’m personally much more concerned about the “list” that AOC is compiling and what the fallout for being on that list might be. It’s got a vaguely Khmer Rouge feel to it. Project much? Just because Trump (calls to arrest Hillary, Obama, Biden, etc) and his followers (chanting "lock her up" re MI governor Whitmer) want to arrest everybody who disagrees with them doesn't mean that people on the Left want to do the same thing. 6 hours ago, TBBills said: I bet they will try and say over a million people were there lol McEnany already tweeted that this afternoon.

I don't even like Cuomo, but he's in an impossible position. It's the #VirusOver crowd that's caused my favorite pub, music venue, and gaming club to permanently shut down and they want to blame China, democrats, masks, socialism, free trade, whatever the flavor of the OANN day is. I'm beyond ***** pissed. This whole pandemic could have been over in a month if adults in this country acted like responsible citizens. Instead they ***** all over the place and bitched about the mess. Meanwhile, I feel like the ####### for being the only one that's actually been trying to shelter in place (mostly) since February to do my part. Buy some groceries, get some booze/bud and watch Black Sails on Hulu. By the time everyone has finished the series, the pandemic is over and we all get to talk about the best show of the last 5 years together. Edited November 15, 2020 by BullBuchanan 2

TBBills Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 (edited) I wonder how high a death % a virus would need to be to make everyone take notice... The lower the % is the less people care, even though they are showing this virus affects everything. As the time goes on they find more and more long term problems from this virus. I think the only way you would get everyone to cooperate is if the death rate is high... WTF is that about? Edited November 15, 2020 by TBBills

Well, Hillary’s actions might well have reached the standard of being illegal, but that ship sailed long ago. As for Governor Whitmer, many people are rightly concerned with governmental overreach and the destruction of their lives and livelihood. To my knowledge, none of the people in the crowd had any legal capacity to bring charges against her. AOC is positioned quite well to directly and personally impact the lives of people she disagrees with politically. Her personal financial situation is not impacted whatsoever by a shutdown whether it lasts 30 days or 30 months. Politicians and enemies lists have a long and dark history in American politics.

Who, exactly, are you referring to with the statement, "politicians and enemies lists have a long and dark history in American politics"? Joe McCarthy and Richard Nixon both had "enemy lists". Anybody who dares to disagree with Trump is on his "enemies list", and he wants many of them "locked up". Those three were/are all Republicans infamous for "enemies lists". Off hand, I can't think of any notable Democratic politicians well known to have "enemies lists". Certainly not Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. At best, she can vote yea or nay on a shutdown ... if Congress even gets involved in that. The national shutdown back in March was by executive order.
