It was absolutely what the nation does not need right now. He did not speak about healing. He did not recognize any of the racial tensions that are happening across our country," Bottoms told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union." "Instead, he does what he always does. He continues to try and divide us and really inflames the worst in people. And so I just hope that this is a good sign that the country is moving on from him," she continued. "Like so many people across this country, my first response was that, 'I hope that this is a preview for November,'" Bottoms said. "That finally people are recognizing that this man is a danger to our country, a danger to our democracy. And he should not be the President of the United States of America." https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/21/politics/keisha-lance-bottoms-trump-tulsa-rally-cnntv/index.html There seems to be a lot of this going around. Keisha Lance Bottoms, and a lot of other people, on both sides, should take a long hard look in the mirror.... 2

The interference didn't actually reduce the amount of people that supports Trump; these rallies tend to be his base anyway; but did highlight how petty this election is going to be. ....so childish. 2 minutes ago, billsfan1959 said: There seems to be a lot of this going around. At this point, is there anything they can do, or say? It's not like they can ramp up the attacks. Edited June 21, 2020 by unbillievable 2

Not really that similar. FoxNews, during Obama, had a 75%/25% negative ratio. The MSM is averaging 92%/8% negative ratio against Trump. One Network with a 75% bias is not nearly the same as 95% of Media having a 95% bias. Not to mention Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc, piling on, and now China, too. ...of course, Trump had Russia. ? 3

Fiscal responsibility, bust (Trump an even bigger bust on this one). Middle East war and foreign policy, bust. Solving illegal immigration to the benefit of Americans, bust. Delivering to minorities on the promise of fundamental transformation, bust. Using many federal agencies for political gain, even criminal, bust. Trump deserves criticism too but the media and the left are so blinded by political hate they've completely forgotten what is the larger role of the Federal Government. 2

You don't need a ticket to get into a Trump event. There really aren't "tickets" -- hence why they had 1 million. It's a data collection method -- sign up to reserve a "ticket", requires giving your email and cell number (and you have to confirm both). But when you get to the door, there's no one taking a ticket. It's just a line that you can get in whether or not you signed up for it. Same for Biden's events. (just fyi ) 2
Chef Jim Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Forgive me if this was asked but to our progressive/liberal friends here why do you think the turnout was so low yesterday? A. His support is waning? B. He got punked on TikTok? C. The pandemic kept people away?

Media fear-porn of violent agitators being present kept the families away (families make up a large part of Trump's past crowds). (with some C thrown in for the elderly who stayed home too -- Trump draws that demo in large numbers traditionally as well)

I'm just going off what I know from experience. 1

Your experience is probably different, but when I looked it up, they said that indoor events have a limited supply (just over capacity). The official website even warns to make early requests before they run out. Although they do offer outside overflow contingencies. It would make sense, for people who are traveling, to want a guarantee, rather than just an offer of a glimpse in a receiving line. 1

My experience (just for clarity): I've never been to a rally, but talk to a lot of people in the campaign on a regular basis (and plenty who have gone). So my experience is second hand. 1 minute ago, transplantbillsfan said: Yes. It does. I do it all the time and square up when I'm off track or have been just plain wrong.
