Bangarang Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 That breeze you felt was Ed Oliver’s sigh of relief now that someone else on the team has done something stupid. 11

Things are too tense for the Bills not to cut him. They would be fools to hold on to him. 1

Even then, this is a really good opportunity for the team to come together and help someone grow.

If that happens, I’ll be interested to see if all those who defend the rights of corporations to dictate employee behaviors as we’ve seen in the Kaepernick threads are the ones arguing that the Bills were wrong to cut Fromm for simply expressing his view. 1 1

I don't think there is alot of interest at the moment in helping racists grow. 2

I was 100% behind the idea that Kaep is free to express himself, and the owners are free to punish him as they see fit (within the law of course). I’m likewise 100% behind Fromm being allowed to say what he believes...and the team is free to punish him as they see fit (within the law of course). 4
HappyDays Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I'll admit I've had personal text conversations where I've made very off-color jokes to my friends. It's not right that this was leaked and I don't take it as a statement on who Fromm is as a person. I'm sure everyone here has said something in private that would destroy their career if it was made public. 9 3

He's gotta do some serious damage control to try and save his career. He was fringe material before this, now ur own teammates see who you can be behind closed doors. Like... An apology is huge, a personal change is huger. Especially after the stuff McDermott said in his presser. 1
