This current roster is light years ahead of that bunch. I would take either one of those qb's over Barkley though.

Stevie Johnson? Good grief.

Most valuable, as opposed to best yeah? So, it makes sense it's QBs, the way that the NFL MVP is pretty much always a QB.

But Stevie Johnson? Yeah, not seeing that.

Nobody from the McD era was going to make this list because they were only here for 30% of the decade.

It’s a completely inane discussion to come up with an MVP for a lost decade.

Three 1000 yard seasons - who else for Bills have done it?   It is not Just PPF which thinks so.

Stevie DID for a couple of years made some DBs look silly.

Wide Receiver: Steve Johnson (2008-2013), Sammy Watkins (2014-2016), Robert Woods (2013-2016)

This trio would make any quarterback look good like they often did in Buffalo over the course of their careers. Stevie Johnson would make defenders look silly with his crafty route running and yards after the catch. Sammy Watkins was a burner and probably the most talented receiver the Bills have ever employed. Robert Woods was consistent in production and also a victim of the Bills quarterback turnover.  These receivers got the most out of their quarterbacks, not the other way around.

Not saying Stevie was bad. But yes, I am saying that he wasn't our MVP of the decade in any way, shape, form, method, scheme, means or manner. Or process.

He wasn't even the MVP of any of those Bills seasons. Fitzy for one was far more valuable. Probably Kyle Williams too. Freddy, maybe. Hell, Dareus was in his first three years and looked like he was going to be a pillar of that team for a decade, it wasn't till his 5th year that Dareus lost the pass rush part of his game.

Isn’t Stevie 5th on this list?

Does PFF use a random name generator for these lists?

Superlative metrics?  It's a wonder NPeterman isn't on the list, due to record breaking performances.  ?
