I asked my mom a couple years ago what it was like during WWII.  Was she every worried of a Nazi invasion.   We always look through these things through the lens of history regarding WWII seeing most of us didn't live through it.  She said "no, the only thing I was worried about was the polio epidemic."

Let's not be hypocritical and just view it as it is.  You said we, as in "why we fight"... I understand that. What about they, why they fight. 

 

Why we, they fight... Can we view  it both ways, can't everybody  say the same  thing:
