Chef Jim Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 I asked my mom a couple years ago what it was like during WWII. Was she every worried of a Nazi invasion. We always look through these things through the lens of history regarding WWII seeing most of us didn't live through it. She said "no, the only thing I was worried about was the polio epidemic." 1
ExiledInIllinois Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 Let's not be hypocritical and just view it as it is. You said we, as in "why we fight"... I understand that. What about they, why they fight. Why we, they fight... Can we view it both ways, can't everybody say the same thing: https://lastrealindians.com/news/2014/12/20/dec-20-2014-defining-genocide-and-americas-selective-memory-when-it-comes-to-atrocities-committed-against-american-indians-by-gadudage Is that tit for tat justification for the Patton pic above. I could go on, but I won't, this is our tribe's day to honor its war dead. 1
