BravinSeattle Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I was just curious. I see a number of people that post consistently throughout each and every day and was wondering what some of you did that allowed you the time to post so much. I am obviously in the Marines and am the fiscal officer for the Camp Lejeune Disbursing office. I am in charge of a 175 million dollar account. Fortunately I am in charge so I have my worker bees that do the bulk and I just certify the accounts. That allows me time to be on here. 308803[/snapback] I'm the state director for an organization called Americans United to Protect Social Security (www.americansforsocialsecurity.com) and I direct strategy, communications and field efforts in opposition to "SS is in crisis, SS is not in crisis but its in trouble, SS isn't in trouble but we need to privatize it, We must privatize it even if it doesn't save it!" campaign. Our organization is the primary reason why Bush's plan to destroy the program is has almost as low and approval rating as he does.

MadMark Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I am a Financial Aid Counselor at a community college. I find time to visit in between telling students that. 1. Their parents make too much money for them to eligible for a federal grant. 2. The Fed government requires them to provide their parents income information. 3. They are no longer eligible for financial aid becuase they hae either attempted 120 credit hours and have earned a 2 year degree yet or they have only finished 6 out of 24 credit hours during the past two semesters. GO Bills 2005 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lurk on TSW for intellectual escape. Whether I mean to escape into a different intellectual plane or to escape from any serious intellectual discussion at all depends on how many posts I see on a given day fantasizing about trading Nate Clements...
Marshmallow Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Advertising Copywriter. I write TV commercials, radio commercials, print ads etc.
udonkey Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 At the moment, I am a Dell catalog sales rep (meaning I sell only to the consumer market). I anticipate getting into small/medium business or government sales eventually. Otherwise, sales for some company...hopefully one that will fly me all over the country and give me a hefty expense account.
