She was both lovely and a talented broadcaster. That was the pre game show to watch in the 70’s. She paved the way for future women to be taken seriously as knowledgeable football reporters. Influential off the field married to JY Brown who essentially moved the Braves out of Buffalo.

RIP

Out of respect I will hold my thoughts on her former husband, John Y Brown Jr.  It isn't Phyllis' fault.

She was a babe back in the day.  Loved watching her.  Very knowledgeable and personable as well.  She was only 70.  Read she died of a blood disorder.  RIP.  That is sad.  Hope Brent Musberger keeps rolling.  Was there anyone better then him calling a game?

Brent calls the Raiders games on their radio broadcast.  I'm guessing he'll stay on since he lives in Las Vegas & was commuting to broadcast the games in Oakland.
