LabattBlue Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Quite an honor for Coach Bazzani, considering all of the basketball hotbeds in other parts of the country.... http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/baske...oops-boys_x.htm

I'm old enough to remember him as a very smart starter on the UB basketballl team - a playmaker.
Greg de'Ville Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 ...that is terrific. That Falls team was fun to follow, and proved all season they could play with the best teams both in and out of state.
a player to be named later Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I thought it was very intresting since when he was picked as the coach over Pat Monti when the schools merged it was a huge deal. OUT

OUT 308503[/snapback] Monti was the coach when I was at LaSalle, he followed Bazzani who went to coach NCCC, which I believe won two national JUCO titles when he was there. Both guys would have gotten the job done in my opinion. As an old timer, still hard to roconcile the fact that High School and LaSalle are now one school.

My sister was going to LaSalle when they merged and I couldn't believe it when she told me that they didn't keep Monti. Guess it worked out though... I'm not even 30 yet (a few more weeks ), and my old high school is already gone... CW, c/o '93
