Formerly Allan in MD Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Love is a stretch for whoever would have taken him. Not a dynamic guy/leader. Reminds me of EJ.
joemac1114 Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 A $45.9 million cap hit for Green Bay means this isn't happening.

Doc Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Wait, did you (and Reggie) mean this year or in 3 years when the cap hit would make it more palatable?
Ennjay Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 So . . . people (starting with Reggie Bush) think the Packers plan to take the next two or three years off while they groom Love? They're that intimidated by the juggernauts in Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit? With Rodgers the Packers are maybe the division favorite. Without him they're Cincinnati.
Simon Says Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I think the actual conversation was about Brissett

This is the case of a media person thinking "What can I say to get attention"? I guess it worked. It was "Reggie Bush". Dumb jock with access to the media Edited April 25, 2020 by Mr. WEO
BeastMaster Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I think Love is a major project. Doubt that he ever pushes Arod out the door

H2o Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Not gonna happen, aside from the fact the Pats don't have the cap room to add Rodgers.
Mr. WEO Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Rodgers has less in the tank than Brady, so as nuts as this thread is, there's no logic to swapping Brady for Rodgers at this point.

The Pats can’t afford Rodgers right now unless they cut or trade about 5-6 guys that weaken the team. I don't know, Day-vee...a few 'Orchids of Asia' gift certificates, and some of Guerrero's potions, and Rodgers might be willing to work cheap. ? *?

FLFan Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Someone should stop Reggie Bush when he attempts to think.
dpberr Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 I don't think there's a lot there to the Packers drafting this QB. Teams today need quality backups and insurance policies in case players decide to just retire. Green Bay's achilles heel is that when Rodgers gets hurt and is out, the backup quarterback play is so terrible its no longer a guaranteed playoff team.
78thealltimegreat Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Yeh aint happening Aaron is even more arrogant then Belichick and really likes his money and isn’t taking the “hometown” discount the way Brady did for years...maybe the 49ers cause he’s a Cal kid but not in New England
