Do you think they've ever been compromised?

Disrupting investor infomercials isn't going to get the attention of most of the bad actors that I mentioned.  Disrupting a highly public event on the other hand will

Fine, you're right.  It's much too difficult and the risk of compromise is much too great.  The draft is postponed until everyone can drive to a common, secret, underground location where they can be sure nobody will see their proprietary information.

The broadcast is going to be on a delay like it always is. If somebody jacks the teleconference they will just shut it down.  That's all.  No big deal.  Nobody will get the opportunity to do anything outlandish.  You stop the process and continue it later or whenever you feel like.  Nobody will die if a CB from Texas A&I doesn't get drafted until next Tuesday.

Will it be annoying?  Yes.  Will it be disruptive? Yes.  Is any of that reason to not do it?  No.

Man sucks to have an NFL GM dad during the draft that's like 3 days of no playing online or streaming. ?

they're not going to hijack the broadcast.  more likely they'll penetrate the internal network and start encrypting the draft board, databases, player files, etc then demand a kings ransom of bitcoins to unlock it

Or they'll DDoS the league or individual teams to prevent picks from being made

and they could do all of those things already.

If anything all of the internal IT departments and League Security have been running around like madmen to make sure all the mouthbreathers in the front office don't have "football" as their password.

Schneider going all out. First a remodel and 25 screens.

Does he realize you can have more than one thing open on a screen, or more than one persons face on each screen in webex?

2 computers, tablet, land line. 3 monitors tops - 4 just gets too busy for me and you end up just stashing something like email or teams messaging.  One for webex, one for email, and one for my actual draft info.  But i'd have other stuff behind the webex and email because... they don't need to be open all the time.  They have notifications indicating that you have an email or that someone's sharing screen in webex, etc.  Cell phone for conference calls/trades, and a landline there simply to call in picks if the app fails.

I'd probably want the biggest TV in my house set up with my big board - ideally a shared "living" file.  If i could screen mirror to like a surface pro that would be ideal since touch screen would be good for that type of thing.

Nice thing is Buffalo gets a test run since they have no picks on day 1.

Also, did they have app developers create a like - official draft application?  Does anyone know?

They told him he needed to update his Windows to 10.  Hence, busting out walls.

But as I said those millions of people also dont have this thing as a made for TV event.  and how many routinely auto-pick in those things 50%.

I HATE auto-drafting during fantasy drafts.  Ruins the draft for the non auto pickers.  Esp. in an auction format.

Password is not football. It is SuperbowlLV!

Ha ha ha Housework messing up a draft that would be great

what they really have to worry about are those Bill Bellichek screen savers that pop up out of nowhere.

Load them up with Crap team. Most never updated values so nominate crap players in the positions they need and fill their teams full of 4 dollar players

Ah, it'll be fine...providing a Russ Brandon wannabe isn't cruising 'Adult Friend Finder' at the same time as their team is drafting.

Did you forget how Whaley got fired from Pittsburgh for accidentally emailing porn to co-workers?

The only video that is really needed is of Goodell or whomever is announcing the picks, and the talking heads covering the draft.  I highly doubt either of these are being done over residential WiFi.

My Brother just won our fantasy baseball league last year with auto draft.  He had Yelich in the 8th round and Bauer in like the 15th as keepers.  But i went on a crazy run and won 15 consecutive weeks and lost in the championship.  Wade Miley and the rest of my non gerrit cole/lance lynn starters just crapped all over my season.

the worst is when the auto-drafters WIN.

fantasy baseball is fun, haven't played in a few years, but yeah, the lack of a deep rotation can kill you.  And Yelich in the 8th was a steal.

Right - GM calls the player after the pick is submitted to Goodell.  There doesn't need to be a face to face or something between beane and goodell.

Or you know they're in autodraft and take a guy you need/wanted with the pick before yours.

Your 50 person Skype call isn't part of a high profile event that tens of millions of people will watch

Your 50 person Skype call is significantly less likely to draw the interest of cyber criminals, foreign cyberwarriors, terrorists, hacktivists, or script kiddies

So your saying that I'm comparing apples to oranges.
