I’d rather he be with the Seahawks or even Bills. However Titans really don’t scare me. We have all seen this one before. A backup caliber QB has a nice run over a handful of games. The team gives him a a new contract and then the QB goes back to backup talent level.

Tannehill has always been a better player than he’s given credit for.  He’s a decent player when he’s playing for a competent organization. Tannehill could pull an Alex Smith and be a guy who gets traded to a team that’s a better fit for him and wins a ton of games even though he never wows anyone.  I think the same about Andy Dalton but to a lesser extent.  If BB wants a veteran starter, Dalton could do some things there.

They should scare you.  We barely beat them last year and they had the worst qb in the league.

Holy ***** are they stupid.  They made Clowney a universal free agent in Madden ultimate team.  He gets assigned every team chemistry until he signs.

They don’t and they will take a big step back.

What makes you say that?  They were terrible to start the season.  They were Super Bowl caliber by the end of the year.  There’s a good chance Henry gets injured due to his workload, but otherwise they’re not taking a big step back from 9-7.  You think they’re a 6 win team?  I’m not seeing it.

Titans, Chiefs, and Ravens will be the better AFC teams this year.  I would think if anything, the Titans will get better just by being more consistent; Vrabel probably won't have to make a QB change mid season.  Tannehill could be an Alex Smith equivalent by doing just enough and letting the running game and the defense handle the load.  They might want to give Henry more rotation as his workload was a bit much.

I just hope to play them in Nashville next year and everything happens on schedule. I would hope to be there again if things fall the right way.  PLEASE let this happen, on so many levels!

They are a good team, but I like our chances. I’m positive it would be a great trip!

Tannehill will regress back to his normal mediocre self.

Mike Vrabel is an EXCELLENT Head Coach and that team is built to win even if Tannehill does regress. I'm not a big fan, but he won't regress to Mariotta level.

That team will absolutely be competing for the AFC Championship (if there's even a season).

Adding Clowney will make their defense that much better.

REALLY hope this isn't true and the Bills make a run, but the latter appears unlikely.

There are reasons at the moment to think Tennessee steps back. Their QB had a career year, I personally am very doubtful he repeats, they lost their right tackle, lost their best defensive lineman and a starting corner.

They do have a really solid core though and good coaching. They have been 9-7 for four years in a row. I think they will be around that mark again.

Happy, like you’re posts, but you forgot one team in the AFC.  THE BUFFALO BILLS!  Sorry, I wasn’t yelling, just excited we’re in the same discussion now as the teams you mentioned and I agree with you 110%.  These are likely to be the four division winners.  I don’t remember any of them including us losing key players in free agency, and several additions including us.

As far as Clowney, I didn’t see him live up to his hype coming out of the draft, but he is a solid player.  It’s just mind boggling he didn’t play better with Watt on the other side as Watt drew most of the double teams, and still beat them.  I hope the Titans play well as long as it is not against us which is supposed to be the last game of the season in TN.  While we have two tough divisions in the NFC and AFC West, they don’t exactly have it easy with AFC and NFC North.  You can make the argument the Jets and Dolphins are rebuilding and the Pats may be good, but not the same as the past.

Now their division doesn’t look that hard either as Jax and the Texans should be a mess, but there are some good teams in both divisions in the north with the Packs, MN, Ravens, and possibly the Steelers as Big Ben will be back.  I can see the Titans and Bills with a 10-6 record even though both teams may be better, but facing tough opposition.

It should be a fun year as long as we have a full season.

I disagree with you on Tannehill. Ryan’s season last year was luck. Pure and simple. The Alex Smith comparison doesn’t hold up. Smith got better when he got better coaches who knew how to scheme to his strengths. Also Tannehill isn’t anywhere near what Smith is. I’ve watched enough Tannehill to know what he is. Plus the Bills owned him while he was in Miami. Look for Tenn to have the opposite type season they had last year. Start out strong and fade away.
I agree with @Augie and hope the game is in Nashville again. What a great town!

Both Tannehill and Henry had career years, in contract years.  If they can duplicate those years, they should be good.  If not...

yea the team we needed 4 missed fgs to beat last year who went on to beat the pats and ravens who we couldnt beat all year is not a team you're scared of?  they are adding a quality pass rusher and have all their picks.  tannehill's biggest problem was always health. if they get a quality backup rb so henry stays healthy they are the team to beat in the afc behind the chiefs.

Titans are a solid team top to bottom. I’m not “scared” either, but they outperformed the bills when it mattered most and they’ve earned a healthy dose of respect.
